Eighteen months ago, I lost my pet cockatiel, Pepi, when he flew out of the door. It was a horrid day, with storms and high winds. I was beside myself, and phoned two different psychics, who both told me he was dead. However, other psychics have since told me that he was caught by someone who took him in. Can you tell me if Pepi is alive?
Brenda, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
Mystic Mary replies: I get the strong sense that he's still alive. He feels to me to be well and happy. The pictures I get of his surroundings are all semi-rural, and I sense that someone found him in a copse. It feels to me as though he managed to travel some distance away, possibly swept by the winds into the trees that I can see. He wasn't hurt, just exhausted. I believe he's now happy and secure.

My boyfriend and I have been trying for a second baby, but nothing's happening. We're under stress about money, so this can't be helping. I know it sounds funny, but my little boy has started rubbing my tummy and saying: 'Baby!' Is he trying to tell me something?
Louise, Chatham, Kent
Mystic Mary replies: I believe he is! Little ones are always very intuitive, and your son isn't only picking up on the fact that you very much want a second child, but also that it's likely to happen. And I agree with him, because your numerology suggests that you're likely to be expecting within the next two years. Now I know that's going to seem like an age to you, but some things need to happen in the meantime, such as finding ways to reduce the financial stress you're under. I don't need to be psychic to realise that having a larger family will
cost more. The good news is that I sense that a new job opportunity is coming your partner's way, which will help things in all sorts of ways

This is a photo of my son, Connor, taken a year ago. He'd just had an asthma attack and I tried to lighten the mood by taking photos. This is one of the results. He has a torch in his hand, so is this a trick of the light, or something else? He had a twin, who I lost early on, and my son often talks about going to a special place when he's sleeping, a garden with an oak tree, with flowers of colours he's never seen before. Can you explain this?
Deborah, Stevenage, Hertfordshire
Mystic Mary replies: I don't think this is just a trick of the light, Deborah. It's an accepted belief that the connection between twins is strong, even when one has passed
on. Connor had just had a bad experience, fighting for breath, and I believe his twin was there to help. Connor is a sensitive boy, which is why he sees what he sees when he's asleep. I believe he's connecting with his twin, and that he senses him around more easily when he's asleep.
